Sharing the process

The art of transforming a continuous strand of fiber into a textile object will never cease to intrigue and delight me.

My Grandmother taught me to knit when I was very young, and I have fond memories of occupying myself with her stash of yarn on rainy days at the beach. I was later introduced to crochet in my twenties while living in Manhattan, and have been "hooked" ever since. These days I am focused on expanding my knowledge of textile art techniques to macramé, and weaving.

I am starting this blog in order to have a place to document this exploration, and to share my inspiration and journey. I look forward to hearing your thoughts along the way :-)
